DD is in year 6, she read the diary of the wimpy kid and tom gates books a while ago and has just read the first two books in the Diary of Adrian Mole series. Now she's asked for more diary style books, I'm not aware of that many.

Can any of you recommend some please?

Dork Diaries?

Daddy Long Legs might work, it's written in letters to a benefactor rather than true diary style.

I'd second Daddy Long Legs - it's out of copyright, so if she has a tablet/reader you can get it for free here as a pdf, but there's also free kindle versions I think.

Zlata's Diary. I read it age 10 and loved it.

The 'Do Not Read This Book' series by Pat Moon.

As I recall jaquiline Wilson books tend to be written 1st person. So they might be good.
