An up to date "Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret"

Loved this book when I was a pre-teen, and am going to get a copy for my eleven year old, but was wondering if there is a more up to date equivalent that doesnt involve sanitary belts
Any recomnedations?

Ah, you've got to love Judy Blume. Sanitary belts were before my time, and I still loved it.

I think the new print versions of are you there God have been updated to include towels instead of belts. My daughter read and re read this book and it is now one of five that stay in her room rather than in our family bookcase. It's timeless I think.
