Anyone remember The Tree That Sat Down?

Does anyone remember this book from their childhood? I've just seen it's being re-released this year after being out of print. It was the first of a trilogy, with The Stream that Stood Still and The Mountain of Magic. I read them over and over as a child! Wonder if they will have stood the test of time??

Still have my copy, but never had the sequels.

One of my favourites. I've never met anyone else that's read them though. I also liked The Wickedest Witch In The World by the same author which has some of the same characters.

I managed to get a copy of The Mountain Of Magic on ABE a while ago but it had been abridged.

Lovely books...you should be able to find second-hand copies on Ebay and Amazon. They can be expensive - but the stories are worth it!
