Malorie Blackman easy chapter books

Are the Betsey books any good? I saw this collection on the book people website.

We're in the USA so I can't look at them in the library/bookshop before buying so would appreciate it if anybody could tell me if their kids liked/didn't like them.

My daughter has this collection and really likes them. We read the 3 Girl Wonder books first and have just started on the Betsy books. She is 6 and still struggles to concentrate on chapter books on a school night so these books are perfect - very short chapters and nice illustrations. She also likes The Worst Witch, My Funny Family, Claude and Amelia Jane if that helps you place them age-wise. HTH.
