Hiya Everyone

Am new here on Mums Net, just going through the sections and seen children's books, my 19 month old little princess absolutely loves books just like me and paper books i avoid as she attends to rip them, she has a love for Sheriff Callie books which excite her but is there any other little ones who also have a love for a certain book?

Its very cute seeing her get excited as im reading it

What The Ladybird Heard, the Spot books, The Gruffalo and Dear Zoo all go down well here. Hardback are definitely best with little ones!

Just one thing (sorry!) but if you stick on Mumsnet then you might end up chatting about things that could out you in real life. If that worries you at all then you might want to change your username to something less identifiable. If it doesn't bother you then ignore me!

Toddle waddle- I thought rubbish, but DD Loved it when she was younger and now at just two loves to repeat all the words back. Second what the ladybird heard- another early favourite I had to read twelve times a day. Room on the broom is popular at the moment too. Along woth giraffes can't dance- it is great if only as it manages to use the word elegant in a children's book. DD came in from a walk in the dark a few months ago and told me the moon was beautiful- a phrase inspired by that book, I love it. I can't think what else right now. dear zoo she loved for a while when younger and oh dear by the same author.

When dd was that age her absolute favourite was Bear Hunt - she would recite it and want to reenact it all the time.
Also Rumble in the Jungle - she recently rediscovered this on her bookshelf at almost 4, and I could still recite all the poems off by heart, having read it so many times!
