Trying to get a dd2(9 yrs) reading again

Dd2 used to read alot but has stopped. I'm trying to get her reading again, she's into ghosts/horror/spooky stuff. Anybody got any ideas, she's not easily phased but obviously need books suitable for 9-11 years

Robin Steven's new series has really taken off, great murder mysteries.

If you're heading for spooky stuff try Circus of the Unseen which is brilliantly written.

Do they still do Point Horror (or are there any on EBay?)

Marianne Dreams - a classic

Has she tried the Goth Girl series?

Some Neil Gaiman books might work, The Graveyard Book is the one that immediately springs to mind.

Also Lemony Snicket maybe?
