Recommendations for 9yo girl who loves Tom Gates

Lots of recommendations to read after Tom Gates or Wimpy Kid are books ds wld enjoy, but less so dd (captain underpants, barry loser). anyone recommend books for a girl who loves Tom Gates? Are there any good diary style books that don't have a boy lead??

Dork Diaries by Rachel Renee Russell? I haven't read them myself, but they are popular and like a girly version of Wimpy Kid.

Yes! Have a look at the Emily Sparkes series. They are really fun!
