Now ds is of an age where he wants to read his own book before bed, our half hour where I get into bed with him and we read companionably next to each other makes me happy

I was going to say what FeelingSmurfy said. Just a lovely cuddle for no reason. It makes me so very happy, it sometimes brings a tear to my eye!

When my 15 month old smiles at me, hugs me, laughs with me or plays with me

Naps with DD, aged 2. The "I love you" game she plays bouncing about and saying i love you I love you, l love youuuuu!

Little things that make me happy? There's not enough space here to list them all!!! Seriously!!

Bright sunshine against blue skies, with a fresh breeze blowing and birds chirping in the distance. Seeing the smile of a new-born child for the first time. And every time after that. Experiencing a luxurious, scrumptious slice of double chocolate gateau. Watching the sun set on the pyramids, with the desert and mountain backdrop stretching for miles. Watching my team win. Winning this competition! ... ( hint! )

Going to Wrestling with hubby my DC and my mum and dad. Great family fun.

The little things that make me happy are my children laughing, the smell of freshly cut grass, the smell of bread baking, seeing people smile, sunsets, the sea, walks in the woods are just a few!

Lots of small things will make me happy but the one that happens every day without fail is birdsong. There's something about it that lifts my spirits and makes me smile inside and out.

Reliving happy childhood memories watching my DC delight in playing on the beach and splashing in the sea.

Today when DD told me her favourite part of me was my heart because it is so full of love for her (I teared up!)

The 1.5 hours I get to myself each week when DH takes DD to an activity

Most happy thing is to return home after an exhausted day and see my children running towards me shouting mummy for a hug

When the big yin finishes school and comes running out to see the little yin and says "Did you miss me,I missed you"

Friday night when the kids have gone to bed and me and dh have a glass of wine and finally plop on the sofa! Hmm slightly different from other posters but it makes me happy!

My little boy gives us all hand massages!
He is 2.5 now but has done this from a very early age!
They are so good that I find myself getting withdrawal symptom when I have to go up and do some work!
Also, we wake up every morning and snuggle on the sofa for 10 minutes before getting ourselves ready for the day :) :) :)

Uncontrollable giggling from my DS; unprompted 'I Love You's, kisses, cuddles or hand-holding; sunny Summer evenings and Autumn leaves; sunsets and fireworks; walks by the sea.

Friday evening, all my children and my DP are home and we can relax and look forward to a weekend together. Even if we don't do anything over the weekend, I just love having my family around me.
