DD (nearly 4) very curious about how Medusa got her hair.

I've already got a Greek Myths book which she loves and I bought a child's version on Medusa, but they don't really deal with Athene/Athena turning her into the monster. DD is now very curious with each myth as to why they became monsters and who turned them into one. She is focussed on this aspect now and not so much the hero winning.

I've found bits on the computer but was wondering if anyone can recommend a kids guide on this? I don't want to be having to read long excerpts from wiki etc and was hoping they might all be in one place! I did classics an age ago and realise that they are all stories within stories, but no idea if there is a kids compendium, perhaps

Some of the better crazy stories for Athena. She's the reason why spider's webs are so complicated apparently as well. Nothing topped Zeus turning into animals and shagging everything not nailed down though

She seems to like Athene smiting people for boasting So far Arachne and Medusa have been her firm faves.
