My Story Books

Has anyone read the My Story collection of books (historical fiction written in diary form)? Are they suitable for an 8 year old?

Yes would have thought so (depending on how sensitive the child is though). My 11 year old has been reading them for a couple of years, now finds them fairly easy but still enjoys the stories. Much better than the unending Beast Quest!!!

Yes, they're varying degrees of good though.

Oh yes. Ds is nearly 8yo and has been reading the WWII ones for a couple of years. He loves history.
