Does your child have an imaginative streak? This is your opportunity to get their creative juices flowing by designing the zaniest, funkiest pair of pants they can - the best entry will win a very special limited edition signed print of Monsters Love Underpants and a whole bundle of books from the Underpants series!

Monsters Love Underpants is the seventh collaboration from award-winning duo Claire Freedman and Ben Cort. The new paperback edition includes a special QR code that takes you to a free reading of the book by Mel Giedroyc from the Great British Bake Off!

Simply get your little monster to create the most outlandish and exciting Monster pants they can, then take a photo of the design and upload it to this thread.

I asked my 3 year old ds what he wanted to draw on some underpants and he said spiders! It made me think of ants in your pants! Here is his drawing of the comically placed spiders that make the pants look like a face!

Ds loved designing pants so much that he asked to do it again today! Designing this pair let him practise lots of skills: he traced over the dotted lines to make the outline shape, he ripped tissue paper in straight lines, put glue on his pants picture in straight lines and carefully stuck down the strips of tissue paper before cutting the ends off to make the right shape! This has definitely brought out his creative side!

DD2 age five chose to draw 'spotty pants'. Apparently these are the aliens' favourites.
