We are planning an activity at my son's primary school. It will take place during International Week and we want it to be based on a picture book that has nice illustrations and celebrates different nationalities and cultures. It will be for years 1 to 4. Do you have any book ideas please?

How about At The Same Moment Around The World by Clotilde Perrin?

I know you've got one, but if you run to two books you should absolutely get a copy of Children Just Like Me

Its the most amazing book - children from all around the world, each one has a double page spread with photos of them, their family, their school if they go to school, etc etc, plus them talking about themselves.

There is a lovely book called Hello World! which has "hello" written in 43 languages, and a picture of the child saying it and a note of where s/he comes from.
