I normally love world book day but this year we have been given a sci fi theme aarghh! Any ideas wise people???

Pyjamas, dressing gown, slippers, carry a towel - Arthur Dent from Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy

Victorian dress and be H G Wells's time traveller, or a Jules Verne adventurer.

Something wierd and claim to be from a book from the future?

Shirt, bow tie (possibly fez - could you make one from red card?) = Doctor.

Aliens Love Underpants if your DC are infants. Not sure how you would do it though.

If graphic novels count, Batman or other super hero.
