Looking for books for DD who loves her dolls' house. I have 'Five Dolls in A House' by Helen Clare, and 'Tilly's House' by Faith Jacques which are both really lovely stories, but more suggestions welcome!

"The little girl and the tiny doll" is about a doll who lives in a freezer in a shop and has made it into a home with a matchbox bed etc. she plays tennis with frozen peas.

Thank you!

I have often wondered what the book about a dolls house that I loved as a child was called - I have just googled 'Five Dolls in a House' and that is it!!!

I used to take this out of the library time after time - Jaqueline, the 'paying guest'..magic!!!!

Another Rumer Godden one - Miss Happiness and Miss Flower. How I loved, loved, loved reading that book and still do

The Serial Garden is a wonderful story by Joan Aiken. Not as happy as many of her other stories.

I was going to say "Tottie the story of a dolls house" by Rumer Godden but have been beaten to it.

I have a copy and my DD spends ages looking at it and reading bits of it.
