Griffin Pirate Stories

Hi, I have a few of the Griffin Pirate Stories books by Sheila K McCullagh. and I would really like to complete the set as I am really enjoying reading them to my 7 year old son. I read these books as a child, however I realise they are very rare now and hence expensive to buy. Any advice would be appreciated to a newbie on Mumsnet. Kind Regards!

If you want the originals then my only advice would be to keep an eye on ebay and set up an alert on Abebooks as they are out of print and Griffin pirate, surpassed only by the Hidden People books, command high prices.

However, it's not all bad news. They were reprinted in 2007 by Mercury Junior (out of print again!). Not quite the same at all, but if you're desperate for a copy of Griffin Pirate stories then these are reasonably priced.
