In 2015 I will read more with the DCs.

I love books. We have shelves full. I buy them by the bucket load but recently I've been so distracted I've been skipping bedtime reading.

2015 will be the year I read to them every night (barring sleepovers at GPs). First up we are tackling Dr Seuss then moving onto Paddington or Gobbolino.

I can't decide if it's a bit too OTT to make a checklist of books I will read with them this year!

Me too! That's such a good resolution. I also love books, have tonnes but for some reason I find reading aloud so hard. I'm good at reading...I just don't like it! I don't like being interrupted constantly....I don't think its; ott at all to make a checklist.....I am going to start tonight!

My DC are 10 and 6 and I know my 10 year old would love me to read aloud to her....I will begin with My Naughty Little Sister as I think both will like that.

How old are yours? Thanks again for the push!

5 and 4. Oh and 15 month old DS2 but he's still at the That's not my books stage Grin

I get frustrated because they don't seem to be paying attention. They'll be able to answer anything about the book but they fidget so much I feel like screaming.
