Recommend me some books for DS 11

He has read most of the Michael Morpurgo, Enjoyed David Walliams and has worked his way through Anthony Horowitz Alex Ryder series.

Currently reading the Hobbit and Skellig.

Any ideas for Christmas books?

There's a brand new David Walliams that my ds (also 11) has just finished.

Hunger Games?

I assume he's read Harry Potter?

Yes done HP-some else suggested Hunger Games might suit him.

Ds is 9 but he enjoyed the Skulduggery Pleasant series some of which are aimed at 11+ so could be suitable?

He is reading the Indian in the Cupboard now but not sure what age it is recommended for.

The chronicles of ancient darkness was a winner too.

Try some classics - pg Wodehouse for instance

Metawars by Jeff Norton are proving a hit with ds1; also try Operation Red Jericho trilogy, Young Sherlock Holmes, Robert Westall, Auslander and Eleven Eleven by Paul Dowswell, Mortal Engines, Edge Chronicles, Larklight. Will go away and try and remember what else has passed through DS1 bedroom recently....

The maze series are obsessing my DS right now!

Ds (12y) has just said he Must Read Percy Jackson.
