Hi all,
My DS (6, soon 7) is re-reading his brother's Wimpy Kid collection over and over, and I'd like to get him new books for his birthday. What other collections are good for that stage of reading? - he's about ORT 9/10 but seems to be put off by full-page text at the moment. I spotted 'I am sort of a Loser' and its siblings on Book People this week, but didn't like it so thought I'd ask for some recommendations. We have Geronimo Stilton and the Magic Treehouse, we're trying these at the moment.

Thanks.

Fortunately the milk is fairly large font with lots of pictures - by Neil Gaiman.

My DS1 liked Horrid Henry books too - often have largish font and lots ofp ictuers.

I think there is another series by the same author too

Thanks - will check all of these out. We have Fortunately the Milk, and DS1 really enjoyed it, must take a look inside it.

The Big Nate books are very similar in style to the Wimpy Kid. I can't remember the name of the author but they're in most bookshops.
