Hello! Anyone got a good dictionary for a 5 year old who's just starting to read alone? I'd like to start looking at dictionaries with her but obv the definitions have to be easily read too!

Collins School Dictionary is very good. I made the mistake of buying the dictionary from the Jolly Phonics scheme initially as it had bigger font, easier to turn pages, etc. The only problem was that around 80% of the words we needed to look up weren't in it! The Collins one is more extensive and has great definitions with example sentences to put the word into context.
