Your (or your dc) favourite bedtime story books?

They don't have to have a bedtime theme, but I'd like to buy some story books to read to ds as part of a bedroom routine.

Any recommendations?

How old?

Baby age. But maybe a book that takes ten minutes to read, that will continue to be wanted until their pre school age. Ones that aren't dreadfully written or boring!

We recently got a lovely one which dd loves:"How do dinosaurs say goodnight?" It's really sweet - I love reading it. And she's dinosaur-mad at the moment!

I'll add the Tiger Who Came To Tea and Mog. My daughter is 18months but has loved Tiger since she was very wee. I also second above suggestions of Julia Donaldson, Hairy Maclary, Bear Snores On and Goodnight Moon, which we have read every night since she was 8 months. It has lots of shhhh and sssss sounds which seem to make her very drowsy.
