so i wrote a collection of books when i was 10 and have recently been rekindled with them from my mums storage. my best friend is an illustrator so could bring the whole package (incidently we wrote a novel together at school but not sure abt publishing that).

so having read the books to my 2 yo im pretty sure my books are just as good with the obvious gramatical changes.

currently work as freelance writer anyway Smile

I'm looking into this process myself at the moment, and from what I've seen, it's very rare for a publisher to take on an author / illustrator team together. Unless the illustrator writes their own stories, they prefer just a manuscript, and if they want it, they'd match you with one of their illustrators. You might even reduce your chances of them wanting the book if you present it as a done deal with an illustrator.

Good luck with it!
