Accessing dictionary for how to train your dragon books on kindle

Have just bought and downloaded a how to train your dragon book on his kindle touch however we can't change the size of the font or access the dictionary. Any advice on how to do activate these functions will be much appreciated

Is it just this book or is he having trouble with all books on his kindle? Have you tried youtube or Amazon Customer Service?

Hi JJJ just the how to train your dragon book downloaded another 2 others at the same time and the are fine. ThAnks for your suggestion on contacting Amazon services will do that
