DD likes to listen to Audiobooks on her Ipod while we are traveling in the car. She has quite a few of the rainbow fairies books but we are looking for a bit of variety.

She is 5 if that helps.

At that age DCs loved 'The Ardvaark who wasn't so sure' etc.

The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson is a classic, with several more in the same series. They are lovely books.

The Faraway Tree series by Enid Blyton.

Sheltie books by Peter Clover. I don't know if these are available on audio, but my DD used to love them at that age.

Dick King Smith was a winner when dd was small. The Hodgeheg was a favourite. Or the According to Humphrey series by Betty G Birney.

Stephen Fry reading the Paddington books had both mine in fits of giggles at 5/6.

Johnny Morris reading Just So Stories is lovely.
