I'm looking for a present for my goddaughter and would love to get her a book about famous women in history. Scientists, sportswomen and politicians in particular would be great for her given her burgeoning interests.
Any recommendations? It doesn't have to be one that she can read easily now - her mum will definitely read it with her (I would too but live on the other side of the world so can't!) - but I guess something aimed at preteens would be best.
