Book about Caxton

For work we have to write a small piece about our favourite childhood books. I remember being very fond of a series of books about medieval times including an adventure involving the first printing press. I must have been about 8/9 so it would have been late 60's/70's. Any help?

Hi, I wonder if this was "The Load of Unicorn" by Cynthia Harnett, which was about a boy apprenticed to William Caxton? Harnett wrote several (wonderful) children's in the 50s and 60s, several of which were set in the medieval period. My favourite was "The Wool Pack".
