We've got a good collection of Julia Donaldson and a couple of big fairy tale books but would like to replenish stocks. Have also got (and liked) Emily Brown, Lily & Blue Kangaroo and Molly & Beans

Any ideas gratefully received, am rather bored of Usborne fairytales for girls..

My dd loves all the Quentin Blake book, they're great. Her favorites are the mrs armitage stories and Angelo.

Zoe the fairy stories are also popular here.

You Choose got huge amounts of use by my DD when she was 4 or 5.

Do you have any of the Hairy McLary books? Or Charlie and Lola?

Have just ordered You Choose which looks great. We have a couple of Quentin Blake - Mister Magnolia & Angelica Sprocket - she's not a huge fan. Also got Hairy McLary & a couple of Charlie & Lola ones.

Will look for the Jez Alborough and Zoe the Fairy - sounds right up her street,

Thanks

If she likes being read chapter books, then there's lots of lovely ones for this age:
Sophie books by Dick King Smith (at the start Sophie is 4 so perfect)

MillyMollyMandy & My Naughty Little Sister - old but still good

Winnie the Witch chapter books (and the picture books if she hasn't had them all already)

YY to Katie Morag

Katie and the Art Gallery ones by James Mayhew
The Lighthouse Keeper books by Ronda Armitage
The Naughtiest Girl in the School has recently been enjoyed by my 2 girls
Paddington
Magic Molly
