HELP Need books on Quantum Mechanics & String Theory

My DD is REALLY into Big Bang Theory & while I know my way around alternate dimensions and Time theory the others are a little vague!
A few years ago the book catalogues did a 3 book set about Quantum Mechanics, Steven Hawkins & I think string theory but I cant remember the titles of them!!
she is VERY bright and reads anything she can get her hands on & these would be a great stepping stone onto the teen text books.
Can anyone remember the names of these books?

The Grand Design is a great Hawkings book. I think that's the one with string theory in.
So wonderful to hear your daughter is in to science, I hope she continues to be enthused about it throughout school. Chemistry and biology practical lessons were my favourites throughout secondary.
