recommendation - still only available in hardback as it is new but it is fab. we got it from the Book People for £6.50 I think it was.
great story - a boy's crayons go on strike and write him letters about what they are disgruntled about, one didn't like having his paper peeled off, one is unhappy because he never gets chosen for anything exciting, one is overused, orange and yellow squabble over who is the real colour of the sun and so on.
we love it in our house. our girls are 4 and just turned 6.
