Story recommendations for a just-3yr old please

DS1 will be 3 in September and I'm getting asked for present ideas. He could do with some new story books for us to read to him at bedtime ie narrative ones rather than picture ones.

He already has an impressive range of Julia Donaldson/Hairy McClary/Nick Sharratt/Shirley Hughes and all the obvious Tiger tea/Bear Hunt/Goodnight Moon books.

What can we get him next?

They are all kind of sing song narrative which are much more fun to read.

not a story book, but one where they pick - have you got You Choose? My DD loves that one.

And have you got all the Aliens Love underpants ones? They're great

The pirate cruncher is a new favourite here! They do others in that series too I think. I think you probably have most of the others we have based on your post. Also, No-Bot we have just bought too.

Do you have any of the Giles Andrae ones? Commotion in the Ocean, Farmyard Hullaballoo, Rumble in the Jungle, The Lion Who Wanted to Love, Giraffes Can't Dance, All Afloat on Noah's Boat, and so on.

Oherwise second Harry and the dinosaurs, Winnie the Witch also good.
