Just seen this lot in the Teens section in our local library, and have (without much difficulty) steered 11-year-old DD away from them. I've never seen such tripe. Selfish, entitled, charmless main characters, glorifying smoking, drinking and drug use as glamorous and rebellious, and no humour whatsoever. I'm not into censoring my kids' reading material much but it would worry me if this stuff appealed to my DD. Anyone else know it?
