My just turned 7 year old daughter has just finished the percy Jackson books which she loved. But mostly because her 9 year old sister did. Now everything else seems very boring to her...
Long summer holidays ahead, can anyone recommend books not too 'mature' but for a reasonably adept reader? Please no Harry potter!

The Lily series and Rose series by Holly Webb.

Phillipa Fisher series and Emily Windsnap series by Liz Kessler.
Ingo series by Helen Dunmore.

Rick Riordan has written more than just Percy Jackson books. There's the Kane Chronicles and another series I think.

Charlie Bone series by Jenny Nimmo.

Eva Ibbotson has written some good books for this age.
