1st Birthday Ideas

Does anyone any good suggestions for a first birthday book for my daughter? When my son was 1 I bought him "On the night you were born" by Nancy Tillman as a keepsake present & would really like something in the same vein for my daughters first birthday. I'm not sure whether to get the same book or get her a unique one! Any ideas gratefully received

My DS loved (and still loves) a series of books by Clara Vulliamy. The one that sticks in my mind is called Goodnight.

Oh the places you'll go by Dr Seuss?

I've got the places you'll go but always think of that as more of a teacherly/older child gift. I do love it though! The goodnight book looks lovely - thanks for the suggestions!
