Can anyone recommend a good book of mixed puzzles for bright eleven year olds - boys and girls? Planning activities for extended family holiday. TIA

Martin Gardner's puzzle books are good - there's one based on the Snark too which is fun

I normally go into The Works and buy a selection of their word searches, code words, sudoku etc - which ever is going cheapest. My DS (11) enjoys these, and my DD(8) loves wordsearches and is getting good at sudoku.

Yes, a trip to the Works is what I need. I often Internet shop, but really need to have a look and see if they are suitable before buying.
