Books with a Daniel in them

DS1 and I were reading one of the Alfie books last night, and he was thrilled that there was a little boy with his name in it - Daniel.

I don't want to go down the personalised books route for now, but could anyone recommend books suitable for a just turned 5yo that has character called Daniel, or mentions a Daniel please?

Nothing too advanced please! DS insists on me reading three books before bedtime every night, so the books can't be too long or neither of us will get into bed until very late.

Danny Champion of the World? Ok, so it's not 'Daniel' but it's a great book!

Unhelpfully the only one I can think of is 'Dare To Be a Daniel', Tony Benn's autobiography

Also, in Laura's Star, Laura's brother is called Daniel. I have only ever seen the dvd version, so I'm not sure if he features in "Laura's Star" the book. I think there are several follow-up stories about Laura though, so I'm sure he must show up somewhere.

The only one I can think of is Danny the Champion of the World. But it's good enough to bear reading over again!
