Book storage ideas for toddlers

Hi,

I am sorry if this is the wrong place to post it, but i wasn't sure where else would be suitable. Can I please steal some of your ideas for book storage for my DD (17 months). We keep about 10-12 books in the living room, and the rest in her bedroom, which I try to rotate as she gets bored. I tried a storage basket for the living room, but she would only pick a book that was on the top, so they are currently propped against a wall, but it's messy and not ideal.
What do you use? I am a bit clueless-I need something that doesn't take too much space but something that would make it easy for her to choose books and put them back where they belong.

We found this book box was quite good when ours were little. You still have many of the same problems as with a basket, but the low sides and separation of big and little books does help somewhat.

It gets easier when they get a little older!

We also have a wooden kinder box from a school supplies website.

The sling bookcase is brilliant. We got a cheaper version from Argos.

We've got two of the same book boxes as NeverQuiteSure mentioned, and also use a medium sized storage box from IKEA. They work well and can be adapted for other uses in time. Stronger than they look.

You'll probably find as well that as she gets a bit older she'll become more confident / agile in sorting through them to find one she likes.

We have several of the small ones, you can fit about 15 picture books on a shelf, I rotate the ones at the front (about 5 on show at a time) so we get a good selection.
