My 2.8 y.o. loves these books by Benedict Blathwayt, but is frustrated because he doesn't know the name of the station the train starts from.

Can anyone enlighten me, please?

Ooh, just got a couple of these from the library - they're nicely illustrated aren't they? Plots are a bit random - well, in the one we have just read anyway.

Thanks! (My googling skills clearly aren't up to scratch Hmm)

I love the books. DS spends hours looking at the picture and can recite half the text now.

Some things don't entirely make sense (eg in LRT to the rescue he saves passengers from a bus on a flooded road - which is flooded both in front of and behind the bus so how it got there is a mystery to me), but I love some of the details eg. in The Runaway Train, he shouts 'stop' to the lorry driver, 'ahoy' to the boatman, 'whoa' to the horse riders etc.
