DD is nearly two - any recommendations to prepare her for the coming of a new baby?

We had one called Hello Peanut that DD liked when no3 son was on his way, and they both liked when no4 son was en route. She was 2 when no3 son arrived so the age is about right. It's a picture book with nice big colourful drawings, but I can't remember who it was by.

There's a book called 'my special something' about a child and when the new baby is born the mum calls them 'my two special somethings'
I will look for it on Amazon and post the link here.
I cried when I read it but that might just have been pregnancy hormones or because I am soppy

We had Hello Baby which me and DS1 liked. There are quite a few books with the same title, but this was the Lizzy Rockwell one. It's gentle. The preparations for the new one are centred around antenatal appointments, mum being tired and getting the old baby clothes out, not on shopping. Has a breastfed baby in it. Shows older sibling as special to newborn. Generally its v sweet.

Can't recommend enough - Rosie's Babies by Martin Waddell and Penny Dale - beautifully illustrated story about a mum with a new baby and her daughter who has two very demanding (toy) babies of her own.

Also - Annie Rose is my little sister by the very wonderful Shirley Hughes - all about the sibling bond and the way in which older and younger siblings relate. All the Alfie and Annie Rose books are great - my nearly 10 year old sometimes still gets them out!
