'Normal' books that 5yr old can read

Hello, I thought I'd start a thread of ideas for books that have proper stories in them but use easy words. So books you might already have and are currently reading to your DC. As the summer holidays start and we are no longer getting books home from school, we are scouring the bookshelf for existing books that he can read to us. My DS1 is just finishing reception and is about level 3.

So far from me:
This is the bear and the bad little girl (more in this series too)
Spot bakes a cake - but not some other Spots
Dr. Seuss flip-the-flap books - often have difficult words in but because they rhyme can guess some

Any more suggestions?

DD likes:

Doctor Seuss books - Cat in the hat, 10 apples up on top, one fish two fish (there may be others, they're just the 3 we have)

The ladybird read it yourself books

Shark In the Park

Early Reader books (these are more difficult)

Tour - I don't know what level 3 means, as my DD's school using reading recovery levels. HOwever, if you can give me your DC's RR level, I have a list of "normal" -ie non reading-scheme - books that apply to each level.

DD is nearly 5 and enjoys the Oxford Reading Tree books from the library, there is life outside Biff, Chip and Kipper as well though. :)
