Animal Audiobook suggestions?

DD listens to an audiobook every night. She loves Just so Stories and all the Jill Tomlinson ones i.e. the Owl Who was Afraid of the Dark and we have one Animal Ark CD. She has asked for a new story CD for her birthday, and has said she would like one about nature/animals. I can't get any more new Animal Ark on Amazon and I can't seem to find the kind of thing I am looking for - the longer the better as she likes to listen to stories that are more complicated than she could read IYSWIM. Any suggestions?

I had Black Beauty (on tape I thinK) when I was a child and I loved that.

Ebay usually has bundles of these at quite reasonable prices.

Do your local library have playaways? Wish these were around in my yoof as they rock

My dd has the gorilla who wanted to grow up, she loves it and has listened so many times she is now a gorilla expert! She also has the penguin who wanted to find out.

Abebooks has a couple of 2nd hand Animal ark CDs not too expensively here

Also, might she like Gobbolino the Witch's Cat?
