Just wondered if anyone could recommend picture books with a link to fathers - I am thinking of 'My Dad' by Anthony Browne, but there must be others. I would be really grateful for any suggestions!

The illustrations in Going on a Bear Hunt are nicely dad-themed.

"Peace at Last" by Jill Murphy is a lovely one - about dad bear trying to get some sleep.

There's one just published that Love Reading have picked as their book of the month called The Monster Machine-it's about a son and his dad building a Machine together, so has a great underlying message about working together and family with fantastic illustrations. What Does Daddy Do?

Sorry, can't remember the author but it is a lovely book about a child wondering what daddy does in the office all day. Includes, from memory, spinning on his chair! Tis a lovely book!
