I blogged about this problem here:
imaginatemum.wordpress.com/2012/05/04/how-do-i-move-him-on-from-beast-quest/

But thought I would ask here as well. My son is on his 25th Beast Quest. Should I be trying to move him on?

I was into Famous Five for an awfully long time....I have now moved on! DS (7) is loving Jack Stalwart, but as there are only a few, he seems happy to try other things, as long as they involve spies (!!). As long as he is reading, I am pretty happy.

about 11 I think she just likes a series of any kind we had all the flower fairy ones, animal ark...

Thanks guys, am feeling a bit better! I guess I am just chomping at the bit to introduce him to what else is out there!!

My son is a bit older(11) and is currently in an Alex Rider and Young Bond phase. I really don't mind as so many of his friends don't read at all but it does make me wonder what next - he tried Percy Jackson but didn't really get into it.

ImaginateMum · 04/05/2012 19:07

Thanks SecretSpi. He has Alex Rider and Percy Jackson but is not keen yet.

BTDT, esp. DS-y3. Just be glad they're reading at all, I guess!

Imaginate - try him on the Ranger's Apprentice series. I've read the first one recently and did think that this would be an excellent series for any past Beast Quest fan!

Thank you so much, shall check them out.
