A book about germs?

My marginally odd DD will soon be 9 and has requested a book about germs.
Any recomendations? The one's I've seen are all aimed at a younger crowd so I'll probably go for an encyclopedia about the body. What's your favourite?

We have the DK encyclopaedia of the human body. It was about £8 from the DK site with free P&P. DSS1 is 7 and loves it but it's aimed at slightly older kids I think as some of the writing is quite small.

My children used to enjoy Karius and Bactus when they were younger...a story about dental decay!!

This was one of my favourite books when I was little!

This is for the younger crowd, but is quite good regardless. Maybe from the library rather than bought?
