All my dc (2.5-7yrs) love You Choose, it is great for getting them to talk and imagine things. Ds (2.5) wants it every night, was just wondering if anyone knows of anything similar. We have ketchup on your cornflakes, but what they love is looking through and choosing everything. I just think it might be nice to have another similar book so the adults aren't quite as bored, maybe daddy won't be a caveman every night.

Hi, my two DS with three years between them loved Would You Rather? by John Burningham. It's funny enough to read over and over again, choosing different things (and 'justifying' your choice when you're older). I think it's quite an old book but you can still get it on Amazon.

My children love love love You Choose. They also adore "The Big Book", it is slightly different but there are lots of things to talk about in it and not many words. It is written/illustrated by Richard Scarry.

We had to replace our You Choose due to over use. Mixed Up Fairy Tales is as popular here (only similar visually though). Also Where's Wally books have a similar vibe.

The Usbourne books "1001 Things to Spot"... on a farm, on holiday, at Christmas, bug, animals, in the town, etc, etc are firm favourites in our house. DD whose 3 and DS 18mths both love them!

Just been having a look on Amazon and there is a new "You Choose" book coming out in August 2012, called "Just Imagine"!

Something to look forward to... Smile

Ooh thanks, I've just ordered 'You Choose' and also 'What's in the witches kitchen' which also looks fun. My Dd is 2.5 so she should hopefully enjoy these for a while.

I just cannot stop buying children's books. Love 'em! And never seems frivolous (like toys) because they are "educational" Grin

You choose is amazing it has just inspired my new blog entry for making a story tin. This is great fun glad to see there are other books that people can also suggested they are on our "to read" list.
