Tomorrow when the war began

at the request of Twllbach here's a thread on the books.

I've read the first two and really enjoyed them. I can't get hold of a copy of the third ooh till it's republished at the end of the month. I have it on order and am counting down the days. It's a bit odd as I could get the later books but have resisted the temptation as I want to read them in order.

I know they're young adult books but I really enjoyed them.

I have all the books and am hugely attached to them. I read the first one when I was about 13 and I honestly think they helped shape the vision of the person that I wanted to be a little bit.

I think the writing is fantastic, especially as it is a male author writing as a female teen. I love how he manages to weave the relationships in to the war without it seeming forced and how it does ring true in terms of teenagers and the way theyd react to each other.

When any dc I have are old enough, I will be forcing encouraging them to read these!
