Favourite Enid Blyton stories (I would appreciate it hugely if not all were MT, FF etc!)

Every thread about Enid Blyton seems to be about St Clare's or the Famous Five, with maybe a Faraway Tree slipped in if you're lucky!

Didn't anybody else read some of the other books and enjoy them?

I used to love the Green Goblin Stories, and had some of the holiday books (my mum's) which I loved and read over and over again.

I think my favourite short stories were The Humpy Goblin's Kettle and The Flyaway House Smile.

Would love to read them again but they were pretty dated back then, they're probably banned for being offensive to someone by now. [nostalgic sigh]

Does anyone remember one about a girl who goes to live with her aunt and uncle in a circus? She has a pet bear I think, and is friends with a boy who has a pet goose. It's not Mr Galliano's circus, but another one.

Loved Shadow the sheepdog & the farm ones. Also the Enchanted wood.

Polgara2 · 17/04/2012 23:06

Loved EB books as a child - still have my original hard back editions in fact.
