All are fine for that age range except possibly The Witches which is terrifying. No one's old enough for The Witches.

Boy and Going Solo are his autobiographies. Your DC might enjoy Boy, it is written for children to read. RD also wrote Tales of the Unexpected, definitely not for DC!.

I recently bought a box set via Play.com in order to get free delivery. It came within a few days.

Boy is brilliant and probably about right for a ten-year old and maybe an 8-year old to.

Book People set is 16 squids for 15 RD books at the moment. Brilliant.

I haven't heard of the Minpins. I got 3 for 2 last week but haven't given them to the kids yet.
