Nice pony books for 7 year old girls?

Pref reasonable quality (so I don't go insane) but any that are loved would be useful to know.

The Sheltie series by Peter Clover (about a donkey).

I think Jenny Oldfield does pony books too, but can't remember the name.

Lucy Daniels Animal Ark series is about a girl who lives in a vets practice, and each book deals with a different animal and its treatment. There are some horse ones in there.
