A friend's 4 and half year old girl loves the disney film Jungle Book and is facinated that the film was originally a book. So I wanted to get her a copy of the book that has lots of illustrations and is suitable for her age but stays truer to the Kipling book than the disney version.
None seem to fit this bill they are either based on the disney charecters or for an older child ( but I am not very good with which books work for what age). Can anyone recommend any?
