good2read.org.

Dunno if everyone else already knew about it!
I can't tell if they have any biases (like if they would automatically say homosexuality is bad or whatever). And it's incomplete -- lots of series & authors missing that I can think of.
But might be helpful for folk uncertain if their child is ready for certain series.

I would say this site is objectionable in itself and to only trust it if you are looking to censor your children's reading.
It deems some of the best children's fiction of the last thirty years, including worthy award-winning titles - to be objectionable or to be books to have grave concerns about: mostly on moral grounds or inclusion of 'supernatural' elements.

You could try "love reading 4 kids" www.lovereading4kids.com/ and The Guardian Children's Books page which has reviews both by and for children, as well as expert advice.
