Malory Towers question

I would like to buy these for my daughter. I know that someone has written books 7-12 but I cannot find any information as to how these fit in with the original books. Is there now 2 books a year? i.e. it goes original, new, origional, new etc? Thanks very much.

I think the Malory Tower new books feature Felicity (Darrel's younger sister) going up the school. Gwen has come back as a teacher and it's a bit contrived from what I've read. Dd1 loves them though.

The St. Claires extra ones are missing terms including the twins in the sixth form.

I didn't know there were 6 more books! My DS loves them and keeps re-reading them.

They are on Amazon in a set of 6 or the whole set of 12 is only £2 more. Anyone know of another supplier? Written by Pamela Cox if that helps.

I don't need the first 6 though.
